Cluster Snapshot - May 2020
As of May 2020, cluster partners reached 390,398 individuals with Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items (S-NFI) assistance, representing 30 % of the Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) target in 2020. During the month of May 2020, cluster partners provided S-NFI assistance to conflict affected population as well as flood affected population mainly in Jonglei, Upper Nile, Western Bahr el Ghazal, and Abyei Administrative Area. In Jonglei State, partners provided assistance to flood affected population in Akobo and Pochalla Counties, as well as the new displaced population in Pibor County. In Upper Nile State, partners have completed the distribution of S-NFI to the remaining caseload in Ulang County. In Western Bahr el Ghazal State, the response focused within Wau County to assist the displaced population inside the Protection of Civilian (PoC) and the Collective Centres. Partners also provided S-NFI assistance to those who have returned to their place of origin as result of the decommissioning of some collective sites in Wau Town. At the same time, partners have completed the construction of individual shelters in Abyei Administrative Area.
